Research Rounds is a collection of free health research newsletters. The Digestive Health edition is supported by Après. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we use it.

What we collect

• Email address — to send you the newsletter you subscribed to.
• Newsletter topic — which Research Rounds edition you signed up for (e.g., Digestive Health, Post-Infection Conditions).
• Health conditions (e.g., IBS, SIBO, Long COVID, ME/CFS) — to personalize your digest with relevant clinical trials and research.
• Symptoms (optional, Post-Infection only, e.g., fatigue, brain fog) — to rerank research by relevance to your experience.
• ZIP code (optional, Digestive Health only) — to find clinical trials recruiting near you.

How we use it

Your information is used solely to generate and deliver your personalized newsletter. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate Research Rounds:

• Resend — email delivery
• Netlify — website hosting and subscriber database
• ClinicalTrials.gov and PubMed — public data sources for trial and research content

Data retention

We retain your data as long as your subscription is active. When you unsubscribe, your record is marked inactive. You can request permanent deletion by emailing privacy@researchrounds.org.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. One click and you're out — no confirmation required.
